Members covered by Part 4 of the FENZ NZPFU collective agreement have overwhelming voted in support of the variation which includes a 5% salary increase.
The poll closed at 6pm yesterday with 82% of the eligible members voting returning a 98.85% vote in favour of the variation.
Part 4 of the collective agreement will now be amended is to amend Clause 4.2.1 to include a 5% increase to align the remuneration rates with the market rate consistent with the PSA agreement and remove the applicability of Clause 4.2.4 Qualification Bonus, Clause 4.2.5 BA Filler, Clause 4.2.6 Telarc Qualification and clause 4.2.7 Tradesperson’s work allowances for Part 4 employees. The net value for the vast majority of members (including the 2 percent annual review increase applied from 1 July 2019) is 7.1%.
The new salary rates apply from 1 July 2019.
We will notify members of the dates the new salary payments will be made, and the date the backpay will be paid, when confirmed by FENZ.
