The Local writes to remind members that, upon joining the Union, an agreement was made wherein the Union is your workplace representative on all matters pertaining to your employment. This includes any secondments or temporary appointments to positions outside the terms of the Collective Agreement.

In order to ensure consistency within the three Areas covered by the Local, any member taking up a type of position mentioned above is strongly encouraged to have the Local sign off on your contract prior to your acting in the role which you have successfully applied for.
