There have been a few enquiries regarding delivery of the 2006 Diary. Supplies of the Diary should be with Locals next week.
As usual the Union Offices will be closed over the 2 week Christmas/New Year period. If members have any urgent queries during this time, please contact your Local Secretary or one of the Union Committee.

Following the close of nominations for the election of the Central Branch positions of Branch Secretary, Branch President and Branch Vice President, I received one nomination for Branch Vice President and nominations for Branch President and Branch Secretary .
Following the close of nominations for the election of the Southern Branch positions of Branch Secretary, Branch President and Branch Vice President, I had received one nomination for each position.
Yesterday’s notice (below) from District Commander Mackereth once again highlights the dire state of the Fire and Emergency fleet.
There are currently NO relief aerials available in the country to replace the Parnell aerial that has suffered a steering malfunction.
