WEDNESDAY 3 NOVEMBER 2021 10 A.M.

With Auckland remaining at Level 3 in the Covid-19 lockdown, the Auckland Local has made the decision to conduct this year’s Annual General Meeting via zoom on Wednesday 3 November commencing at 10 a.m.

Members who wish to participate in the zoom AGM are asked to contact the Auckland Union Office by email
(Auckland@nzpfu.org.nz), and we can then email back the link and any other details to you.

Zoom is available for download to your mobile device via your applicable App Store (Apple/Android/Google Play, etc) https://zoom.us/download

If you have any questions you would like answered during the meeting, please text them to the Local Secretary, Martin Campbell, on 021 2927729.  This will help the meeting to be run more efficiently.

As advised in our previous notice, Remits for Conference should be forwarded to the Auckland Union Office no later than 12 noon on Thursday 28 October 2021.

Please note the Proposer and Seconder of any Remit must be in attendance via zoom when their Remit is presented at the meeting.  The meeting will also take Remits from the floor.

The National Council will be in attendance and are happy to give members an update and answer any questions.

Yesterday’s notice (below) from District Commander Mackereth once again highlights the dire state of the Fire and Emergency fleet.

There are currently NO relief aerials available in the country to replace the Parnell aerial that has suffered a steering malfunction.
