Members are advised that due to the latest COVID-19 announcement from the Government, the Auckland Local has postponed our Annual General Meeting until Monday 28 September.  All other details remain as follows:

Venue:       College Rifles Football Club, 33 Haast Street, Remuera

Remits for Conference should be forwarded to the Auckland Union Office no later than 12 noon on Friday 18 September 2020.

Please note the Proposer and Seconder of any Remit must attend the A.G.M. when their Remit is presented at the meeting. The meeting will also take Remits from the floor.

It is important that members support this meeting as we need 10% of members to attend to form a quorum (approximately 60 members). 

Can SSO’s please co-ordinate operational movements to allow on-duty members every effort to attend.

The Union asks members to advise those who are off duty or on leave, etc., to attend.

Ratification Meeting next Tuesday 13th Dec at 5pm

As you will be well aware by now, we have finally reached an agreed term of settlement in the negotiation for a new CEA. The NZPFU is recommending members accept it and ratify the settlement offer. The National Committee has completely wrung out the sponge for every possible drop of benefit to members, and it's now our turn to act.
