Auckland Local COVID-19 Update #10 Shift Change Protocols

Members will know that effective Noon, Friday the 29th May, Government has changed the Level 2 COVID-19 restrictions with an increase in gatherings to 100 persons.

In line with these changes, and the further relaxation of social restrictions, the strict shift change protocols of 4 on / 4 off, will be removed.

Effective Noon, Friday 29th May, all COVID-19 restrictions on shift changes are hereby removed.

The NZPFU Local Executive and Area Management will continue to monitor the COVID-19 situation, and are ready to respond to any changes if necessary, including the reintroduction of any restrictions if required.

Members are reminded strict cleaning protocols at the beginning of shift change, hygiene, and social distancing protocols are still in place until further notice.

With the change in gathering limits, station cluster training can also resume, as long as social distancing protocols are followed at all times.

If any members have any questions, please contact one of your station cluster representatives.
