The Auckland Local Committee would like to invite members who have an interest in representing us on the Auckland Working Group working party.

The exact details are still to be confirmed but those selected will be expected to attend various meetings, identify problems, offer ideas, find solutions and be part of the team that can present recommendations to Fire and Emergency and the NZPFU.

This Working Group is an opportunity for members to highlight reasons why Auckland is experiencing increasing recruitment and retention issues. Ideally, applicants will be objective and constructive and must be able to commit time and energy through to the end of June 2019.

This will be a challenging task viewed with interest by Politicians, Industry, Unions and Associations.

Interested members are encouraged to apply, outlining any relevant skills that they can bring, resources, background, knowledge and commitment to work in a team environment. (no more than one A4 page).

All applications to be addressed to:

NZPFU Northern Branch Office
Attention: Auckland Working Group Application
P.O Box 303235
North Harbour
Auckland 0751

or alternatively:
auckland@nzpfu.org.nz

All applications must be received by midday Wednesday 14 November 2018
