Three days of bargaining were postponed due to the national lockdown.  Bargaining will recommence this week through virtual meetings.  It is not ideal but the best option to avoid lengthy delays.

Understandably all-day virtual meetings are not practicable and we have to balance other commitments of both FENZ and NZPFU representatives.  Two-hour meetings have been confirmed – one on Thursday afternoon and a second meeting on Friday afternoon.

FENZ will be responding to the NZPFU claims during these meetings.  It is unlikely that FENZ will be able to respond to all claims and for bargaining to be resolved or exhausted over those 4 hours so have sought additional meetings for next week.

In unity,
Wattie Watson
National Secretary
