Christmas Greetings and Office Hours

On behalf of the Executive of the Northern Branch, we wish all members and their families a very Happy Christmas and a prosperous New Year.

The Northern Branch Office will be closed from the afternoon of Friday 23 December 2022, re-opening on Monday 9 January 2023.

Members are asked that over the holiday period whilst our Branch Executive take some well- earned breaks with their family members, that any contact is kept for urgent assistance only. Branch Executive Members can be contacted during the holidays via email, where they will respond to requests when available.

ELECTION OF CENTRAL BRANCH SECRETARY, PRESIDENT AND VICE PRESIDENT POSITIONS

Following the close of nominations for the election of the Central Branch positions of Branch Secretary, Branch President and Branch Vice President, I received one nomination for Branch Vice President and nominations for Branch President and Branch Secretary .

Yesterday

Following the close of nominations for the election of the Southern Branch positions of Branch Secretary, Branch President and Branch Vice President, I had received one nomination for each position.

Yesterday’s notice (below) from District Commander Mackereth once again highlights the dire state of the Fire and Emergency fleet.

There are currently NO relief aerials available in the country to replace the Parnell aerial that has suffered a steering malfunction.
