There have been a number of formal and informal discussions with the Fire Service since the negotiations were last reported on.

Essentially there are two unresolved issues:

  • The term of any renewed document
  • The amount of the wage increase to be delivered.
  • The two issues are very much inter-related.
  • The Committee expects to be in a position to report in detail to members within the next

2 – 3 weeks and at that time, to also provide a recommendation to members

There are currently NO relief aerials available in the country to replace the Parnell aerial that has suffered a steering malfunction.
