NZPFU and NZFS have met for two days on Thursday 7 and Friday 8 May 2015. Both parties feel that the negotiations have started constructively.

We have agreed the process and commenced negotiations.

Next meeting of the parties will be Friday 15 May, with further dates set aside through May and into June.

Both parties will be considering what has been raised so far, and gathering and reviewing the information needed in preparation for the next set of discussions, including the most up-to-date data from Hay Group.

At the conclusion of each meeting we will send out a brief update.
