The Fire Service’s appeal was heard in the Court of Appeal as opposed to the Supreme Court.
Although there has been a very good response to the opportunity to gift leave to Christchurch Members, many more shifts would be very much appreciated.

An election for the Auckland Local President position shall be conducted by electronic voting commencing at 0900 (9am) Monday 17 August 2026 and closes 1700 (5pm) Friday 4 September 2026.
Members are advised that pursuant to Union Rule B.15.11, notice is given for the Auckland Local Annual General Meeting to be held on Monday 31 August 2026.
