Today FENZ notified the NZPFU that the first holiday remediation payments to rostered employees that were scheduled to commence on 13 February 2019 have been delayed a month.

FENZ stated that the delay is due to issues with the data taking longer to resolve than anticipated. FENZ were notifying employees today that they expect the payments to be now made on 13 March 2019, provided no other issues are uncovered.

We realise that members want certainty in what is owed and when it will be paid.

Holiday remediation payments will be on the agenda at next week’s NZPFU-FENZ meeting, including discussions on ensuring our members are not disadvantaged by the delay.

In unity,
Wattie Watson
Secretary
