RETURNING OFFICER’S NOTICE TO CENTRAL BRANCH MEMBERS

Following the close of nominations for the election of the Central Branch positions of Branch Secretary, Branch President and Branch Vice President, I received one nomination for Branch Vice President and nominations for Branch President and Branch Secretary.

I hereby declare:

TONY ADIE elected to the position of Central Branch Vice President unopposed.

I hereby declare contested elections for the Central Branch President and Central Branch Secretary positions.

Nominees for the Central Branch President (in alphabetical order) are:

  • Tony Adie
  • Mark McLean
  • Rik Walsh

Nominees for the Central Branch Secretary (in alphabetical order) are:

  • Robert Hutchison
  • Anthony Sealey

Any withdrawal from either election is requested to do so in writing to the Returning Officer no later that 0900 Monday 8 June 2026.

As there are no common candidates for both positions the elections will be held concurrently.

The elections will be held electronically.

The elections will open at 0900 on Monday 22 June and will close 1700 on Monday 27 July 2026.

More information on the election process will be sent out shortly.

All elected officials (unopposed or otherwise) will take up their positions on 1 August 2026.
