The information produced regarding the Pay Review relates to Operational Officers & Firefighters (Part 2). The Pay Review exercise did not apply to Part 3 and Part 4 Workers.

However, it is obviously intended that there be an adjustment to pay rates for Part 3 and Part 4 Workers – this is 2.36%.

This figure is the average increase that the Pay Review exercise provides for Operational Officers & Firefighters. Part 3 and Part 4 Workers already receive 1.5 times the true hourly rate for overtime.

The new Collective Agreement, if ratified, will contain a Clause that requires a similar bench-marking exercise for Part 3 and Part 4 Workers.

As questions/points of clarification become apparent/are received, a F.A.Q. Sheet will be produced.
