Hours of Work Policy - Resolution from A.G.M.

Recently members have queried the Union’s position regarding Senior Firefighters acting up as Station Officers.

At the Auckland Annual General Meeting held on 19 November 2004, an important resolution was passed that relates to our current situation with Management over the Hours of Work Policy.

The resolution states:

That no Senior Firefighter shall ride in charge when Officers are available but are stopped from maintaining M.S.M. until the Hours of Work Policy is reviewed to the satisfaction of the Union. 

Now this resolution has been circulated, all members should have a clear understanding on this issue.
