The Auckland Local Committee hereby calls a Special Meeting of all Auckland members to be held at Avondale Fire Station, Thursday 6 December at 10.30am.

The reason for the meeting will be to update and brief members of what has happened since the new Committee members came on-board in September and where we are at with Sulu and John and their expulsion from the Union.

Committee members will also be available to answer questions where possible, and it is hoped that the full offer from the National Committee to Sulu and John will be available to explain to the members and its implications.

The meeting will also be to discuss the upcoming Conference in Christchurch, what our hopes and expectations may be resulting from it and any potential repercussions following.

All off duty personnel are encouraged to attend. SSO’s, can you please arrange for as many on-duty crew to attend as practical.
