Further to NTM No. 3 – 3 February 2012.

Janine Hearn has contacted the Union advising that –

“The information on your website regarding the reasons behind my letter to you on the impact of strike action on rehabilitation plans is incorrect. My letter was in no way prompted by any contact from ACC. ACC were advised by NZFS at the time we issued the guidelines of my letter. I would appreciate it if you could please correct the information on your website.”

Well Janine, your letter may or may not have been prompted by any contact from ACC – although the Union was advised by ACC that they had been speaking with a Fire Service manager on this matter.

So, it was just a coincidence.

In any event, the Union’s overall comments stand and Janine Hearn makes no reference to them.
