Election for Taupo Local President and Local Secretary

By the closing date for nominations for the positions of Taupo Local President and Local Secretary, the following nominations have been received.

There being only one nomination received for the position of Taupo Local President, I hereby declare the following member elected unopposed. This position takes effect immediately.

As more than one nomination was received for the position of Taupo Local Secretary, an election in accordance with the Union Rules is necessary for this position.

Attached please find a biography for one of the candidates.

Ballot papers will be distributed shortly.

Following the close of nominations for the election of the Central Branch positions of Branch Secretary, Branch President and Branch Vice President, I received one nomination for Branch Vice President and nominations for Branch President and Branch Secretary .

Following the close of nominations for the election of the Southern Branch positions of Branch Secretary, Branch President and Branch Vice President, I had received one nomination for each position.

There are currently NO relief aerials available in the country to replace the Parnell aerial that has suffered a steering malfunction.
