Notification of Stop Work Meeting

Industrial Action

At this meeting and following discussions regarding the negotiations, a Ballot will be held to authorise the Union Committee to initiate Industrial Action. Up to but not including a Total Strike.

It is important that members attend this meeting to both hear information regarding the negotiations and to participate in the Ballot.

This a Stop Work Meeting, therefore if you are at work then there is no excuse for not attending. If you are not at work you are also expected to attend. Remember secondary work would not be possible but for the conditions that we have achieved through strong Unionism!

This notice is to inform you that the AGM for the Christchurch Local of the NZPFU, will be held on Thursday 10th August 2023 at Christchurch City Fire Station, starting at 0830. It would be appreciated if the on-duty City SSO could please co-ordinate any truck movements required.
