NZPFU advises Trainers not to distribute survey link or QR code to Trainees

Trainers are advised it is not in their best interests to provide a FENZ online evaluation (survey) to trainees.

FENZ has written to trainers claiming that after a long process they have developed an online evaluation survey to be completed by trainees on all courses. The NZPFU has not been consulted about the content, scope or method of distribution. We don’t know the content, scope and purpose of the survey, who receives and collates the information, or how the information will be used or by whom. We understand that the FENZ Training Quality Team have sent links and QR codes to trainers to provide to trainees on all courses. That process also raises questions on the veracity of the survey as the QR code or link could be passed to anyone.

On that basis we advise Trainers it is not in their interests to provide the survey.

We have sought the relevant information from FENZ.  We will keep Trainers informed.

In unity,
Wattie Watson
National Secretary
