NZPFU COVID-19 Teleconference 9.30am Monday

The NZPFU National Committee of Management met by telephone conference under urgency on Sunday evening to discuss any issues resulting from Auckland being under Level 3 and the rest of the country from Level 2 at midnight tonight.

We will hold a combined NCOM, Locals, Covid-19 SMEs, Com Centre reps and SSO group telephone conference at 9.30am on Monday 15 February 2021. Those attending the conference call will get a text message.

The Auckland Local executive has been meeting with Auckland Area Managers to ensure the transition into Level 3 bubbles and protocols runs smoothly. The Auckland Local and Auckland Management have a system in place to effect the changes necessary in a very short timeframe.

We are expecting FENZ to release a communique to staff this evening confirming the operational instructions under Level 3 and Level 2.

Following the close of nominations for the election of the Central Branch positions of Branch Secretary, Branch President and Branch Vice President, I received one nomination for Branch Vice President and nominations for Branch President and Branch Secretary .

Following the close of nominations for the election of the Southern Branch positions of Branch Secretary, Branch President and Branch Vice President, I had received one nomination for each position.

There are currently NO relief aerials available in the country to replace the Parnell aerial that has suffered a steering malfunction.
