Today the NZPFU legal team is filing the application in the Court of Appeal for leave to appeal the Employment Court judgement.

As there is no automatic right of Appeal these are the usual procedural steps we must undertake.

On Monday NZPFU and FENZ representatives with their respective lawyers will be meeting to discuss FENZ’s intentions to continue to appoint Tranche 2 and 2B processes despite the ongoing litigation.

Return to Work Duties

We have been told that staff wanting to do Return to Work Duties will have to do them at District HQ and they do not intend to reimburse your travel costs, “you are getting an enhanced pay and you can fund your own travel”. We have since got an agreement that the travel distance reimbursement will be paid for travel to District HQ.
