Pay Review - Information Meetings
Meetings to provide information on the new pay structure for Operational Firefighters and Officers will commence shortly (see attached schedule).
These meetings will be conducted jointly by Union and Fire Service.
Members should be aware that these meetings are NOT ratification meetings, but are to provide information about the new pay structure.
The ratification process will occur at a later date.
The reason for holding two meetings is that the information is detailed and complex.
Members should appreciate the commitment of both the Union, and the Fire Service to this matter over a long period of time.
Members are urged to attend these meetings so that they can obtain first-hand, all information (including written information) provided, to enable a clear understanding of how and why decisions have been made by the National Executive.
