Opening of Mt Roskill Fire Station – Friday, 11 September

Buses are picking up members:

  • Starting at 0930 hours at Silverdale Station, stopping at Albany Station, Takapuna Station, Ponsonby Station, then to Mt Roskill Station.
  • Starting at 1000 hours at Papakura Station, stopping at Papatoetoe Station, then on to Mt Roskill Station. 

Dress: Level 1, with turnout coat.

Placards are welcome.

We will have some on hand. Family free to join in. Plenty of parking for those who will drive/carpool.

City Rail Link Engagement

As members will be aware, several health and safety concerns were raised with Fire and Emergency by the Local with respect to the commissioning exercises undertaken at the City Rail Link.

Following the close of nominations for the election of the Southern Branch positions of Branch Secretary, Branch President and Branch Vice President, I had received one nomination for each position.
