The Union’s policy, as established by Conference, provides for Voting on Ratification of any proposed Settlement to occur at Local meetings called and held for that particular purpose.

Therefore – only those members attending a Ratification Meeting can vote in the Ratification Ballot.

All Union members, including the Union Committee, are bound to act in accordance with Conference Resolutions.

Consequently, it is not in accordance with Conference determination for ballot boxes to be made available outside of those provided at Ratification Meetings, and therefore the Ballot Box at the Auckland Office has been removed.
