By the closing date for nominations for positions in the Rotorua Local, the following nominations had been received.

As more than one nomination has been received for the positions of Rotorua Local President and Rotorua Local Vice President, elections in accordance with the Union Rules are necessary for these positions.Voting papers will be sent out shortly.

As only one nomination has been received for Rotorua Local Secretary, I hereby declare the following member elected unopposed. This position takes effect from 1 August 2019.

City Rail Link Engagement

As members will be aware, several health and safety concerns were raised with Fire and Emergency by the Local with respect to the commissioning exercises undertaken at the City Rail Link.
