Members will know that the rules were changed in 2017 in relation to the National Secretary’s position.
The National Secretary has moved from an elected position to an appointed position.
Therefore, members are advised that the Union has engaged a recruitment company, Jackson Stone to assist with the process.

It is envisaged that any process approaching short listing and appointment will be conducted once the President and Vice President elections have been completed.
Members will be well aware of the depth and breadth of knowledge that Secretary Best has in FENZ and the Union, 34 years to be precise. To that end the Union is taking independent advice that relates to any transition process for any new appointee by current Secretary Best and ensuring the continuity of the immense amount of work that has recently been undertaken and that will extend into the future.
