The Northern Branch supports the Auckland Local’s position and as such, does not condone the actions of the individual who has recently accepted an appointment to the rank of Senior Station Officer under Section 66.

Both committees do not believe this appointment is in the best interests of the Auckland membership at large. We also feel that the acceptance of this role is inconsistent, given the current industrial situation.

Hopefully, the individual concerned will re-think his actions and return to his normal position as soon as possible.
