The Auckland Local advises members that we will be holding a Special Meeting for members on Friday 23 March as follows: 

Date: Friday 23 March
Place: Guineas 2 Room, Ellerslie Racecourse Convention Centre
Time: 1115 hours  

Members will be disappointed, as are Union Officials, in the ‘crap’ offer by the employer, as advised in National Newsletter to Members dated 9 March 2007.

This meeting is NOT a ratification meeting. It is being held to conduct a ballot, to seek the mandate of the members to consider forms of industrial action.
The National Secretary, Derek Best, will be in attendance.
