Further Notice of Strike Action has been filed to take effect from 0800 hours 28 November – 0800 hours 5 December 2009.
The Strike Action is as detailed in Newsletter 45 – 10 November 2009 - for 0800 hours 21 November to 0800 hours 28 November 2009.
The Union and Fire Service Bargaining Teams are to resume bargaining on 3 December. Members will be advised of the outcome immediately subsequent to that meeting.
Following the close of nominations for the election of the Central Branch positions of Branch Secretary, Branch President and Branch Vice President, I received one nomination for Branch Vice President and nominations for Branch President and Branch Secretary .
Following the close of nominations for the election of the Southern Branch positions of Branch Secretary, Branch President and Branch Vice President, I had received one nomination for each position.
Yesterday’s notice (below) from District Commander Mackereth once again highlights the dire state of the Fire and Emergency fleet.
There are currently NO relief aerials available in the country to replace the Parnell aerial that has suffered a steering malfunction.
