Taupo Local Notice to Members

In accordance with the NZPFU Rule B.15.11 the Taupo Local gives notice of the Taupo Local Annual General Meeting.

The meeting will be held on Taupo Fire station at 9am on the 19th of August 2022.

Please raise any issues or remits for conference with the executive so they can be added to the agenda.

Following the close of nominations for the election of the Central Branch positions of Branch Secretary, Branch President and Branch Vice President, I received one nomination for Branch Vice President and nominations for Branch President and Branch Secretary .

Following the close of nominations for the election of the Southern Branch positions of Branch Secretary, Branch President and Branch Vice President, I had received one nomination for each position.

Yesterday’s notice (below) from District Commander Mackereth once again highlights the dire state of the Fire and Emergency fleet.

There are currently NO relief aerials available in the country to replace the Parnell aerial that has suffered a steering malfunction.
