Members may be aware of the tragic death of Professional Firefighter David Balfour, killed in the line of duty at the Victorian Bushfires.

The U.F.U. of Australia has established a Trust Fund to assist the family. Further information is obtainable below.

Members should be aware of the significant donations received from Australian Firefighters to the Tamahere Fund established by the Union and consequently, the Union would urge members to reciprocate.
