From time to time, members may be requested to meet on an individual basis with Area Management for a range of issues including well-being conversations, return to work meetings, disciplinary meetings, performance meetings or informal meetings.

You are reminded that you have an right to have a union delegate attend this meeting as a support person.

The Locals advice is, if you are requested to attend an individual meeting with Management, you must insist on the attendance of a local union delegate.

Officers in particular are reminded of their responsibility to advise their crews that anyone asked for a meeting with management of this entitlement.

We strongly encourage members to contact the representative of your cluster, to request the attendance of a union delegate.

If any member has any concerns or queries on this advice do not hesitate to make contact with your cluster representative.
