Urgent Special Meeting

Members are advised that there will be a special general meeting to discuss any appropriate action over the proposed sacking of Chief Jon Graham, Wellington Fire District.

The Wellington Local does in no way condone drink driving but we do not see this as a sacking offence

You must be there!

E Mail Campaign

Members are advised that FRM Butzbach has written to Chief Graham stating that they propose to sack him because his staff has lost their trust and confidence in him.

This has obviously been made up with absolutely no foundation or substantiation.

The Wellington Local Executive therefore recommends that members send an e mail to FRM Butzbach and CC that e mail to National Commander Hall stating how they feel about the proposed sacking and also stating that in no way have you lost your TRUST AND CONFIDENCE in Chief Graham and that you are more than willing to work with him despite his error in judgment.

Please be aware that members should be careful not to use provocative language in that e mail given management’s appetite to discipline its staff.
