Due to conditions agreed to in the USAR Schedule of Conditions R7 SCa and the NZPFU Collective Agreement Not being applied to this exercise the Christchurch Local instructs:
That no member is to attend this exercise until such time as this issue is remedied.
This notice can only be withdrawn by the Christchurch Local.
As members will be aware, several health and safety concerns were raised with Fire and Emergency by the Local with respect to the commissioning exercises undertaken at the City Rail Link.
Following the close of nominations for the election of the Central Branch positions of Branch Secretary, Branch President and Branch Vice President, I received one nomination for Branch Vice President and nominations for Branch President and Branch Secretary .
Following the close of nominations for the election of the Southern Branch positions of Branch Secretary, Branch President and Branch Vice President, I had received one nomination for each position.
