Vale Volunteer Support Officer Mike (Sooty) Barratt

Mike will be known by many of our members as a firefighter for many years, before transferring to Waitemata District as a Volunteer Support Officer.

He will be deeply missed by all who knew him through his many years of service with the North Shore Fire board, New Zealand Fire Service, and Fire and Emergency NZ.

More details are to come regarding his funeral.
