Further to NZPFU National Notice sent out on Wednesday 4 May, this is a reminder to all members that nominations have been called for the positions of Auckland Local President, Vice-President, Secretary and Committee members.

These nominations close on 30 May 2022 and must be received by the Northern Branch Returning Officer by 5 pm on that date. No late nominations will be accepted.

A copy of the Nomination Form to be used and the NZPFU Charter is downloadable and is also available on the NZPFU website under Resources, files for download.

Yesterday’s notice (below) from District Commander Mackereth once again highlights the dire state of the Fire and Emergency fleet.

There are currently NO relief aerials available in the country to replace the Parnell aerial that has suffered a steering malfunction.
