Officers are reminded that when submitting the Watch Business Plan, they are to work closely with their crews. Your crew members are expected to be part of achieving these targets, so their input is essential.

We urge you to set realistic goals that are achievable and under no circumstances should Officers be influenced by their Chief Fire Officers into setting unachievable targets.

The 2004-2005 year was a no-blame, trial and error period. From now on, SMS targets that are set become targets that Officers are accountable for.
