Central Branch election voting closes on Thursday

NZPFU Central Branch members are reminded the election for the Central Branch Vice President position closes this Thursday 13^th January at 1700 hours.

Members eligible to vote would have received a link to the election and electronic reminders via their FENZ email address. On the 7^th December members were asked to notify webmaster@nzpfu.org.nz if preferred to have their personalised voting link sent to another email address. It is not too late to provide an alternative email address. Following the close of nominations for the election of the Central Branch positions of Branch Secretary, Branch President and Branch Vice President, I received one nomination for Branch Vice President and nominations for Branch President and Branch Secretary .

Following the close of nominations for the election of the Southern Branch positions of Branch Secretary, Branch President and Branch Vice President, I had received one nomination for each position.

Yesterday’s notice (below) from District Commander Mackereth once again highlights the dire state of the Fire and Emergency fleet.

There are currently NO relief aerials available in the country to replace the Parnell aerial that has suffered a steering malfunction.
