COVID-19 Co-responder Vaccinations

As you will have been told, our status as co-responders, categorises us as high risk medical workers who fall into the Category 2A. The Pfizer Covid-19 vaccination is available to you now.

FENZ has contracted MedPro to handle our vaccinations for FENZ staff. I have received many requests for information as to when the vaccinations will commence. Despite many attempts to gather information, nothing is forthcoming.

From the limited information I have available to me I can see that Mt Maunganui Station has been designated our local hub for vaccinations.
Whilst some career stations in the North Island have been offered a date for the vaccinations to commence, we here in the Bay of Plenty are still in the dark as to when we can expect our rollout .

For those that are happy to wait for MedPro, please check the Portal each day at 10am for updated information.

Those who wish some certainty around dates are welcome to access the vaccination via the BOPDHB.

Information around booking can be found by following the links in the Governments Covid-19 website at https://covid19.govt.nz

The process is reasonably painless and bookings are available at either Baypark Stadium, Mt Maunganui or First Ave, Tauranga.

Your other option is to wait from MedPro to announce dates around the Mt Maunganui Station Hub.

The vaccination is entirely voluntary and you are welcome to access it from wherever you choose.
