Day three of the campaign trail included Alex Forrest briefing members of the Labour Government.

Alex is pictured with Dr Deborah Russell - MP for New Lynn, Labour List MPs Jan Tinetti and Kieran McAnulty, NZPFU National Secretary Wattie Watson, and Labour List MPs Marja Lubeck and Priyanca Radhakrishnan.
 
We were fortunate to have almost an hour discussing the scientific basis underpinning the link between firefighting and specific cancers, and why presumptive legislation is needed to enable firefighters to access their entitlements as they would for any other work-related injury.
