Shortly the Northern Branch Returning Officer will be calling for nominations for the election of the Northern Branch President.
The previous election was in effect put on hold because the two candidates were suspended from employment.
This has now been clarified.
The Northern Branch President is a member of the Union National Committee and a Delegate to Conference.
Members are advised that the nomination period for the following two positions is now open and will close at 5pm, Friday 11 September 2026.
An election for the Auckland Local President position shall be conducted by electronic voting commencing at 0900 (9am) Monday 17 August 2026 and closes 1700 (5pm) Friday 4 September 2026.
Members are advised that pursuant to Union Rule B.15.11, notice is given for the Auckland Local Annual General Meeting to be held on Monday 31 August 2026.
