The Union has had a number of queries from members regarding the above Survey (sent out yesterday).
Members are advised that the Union was not consulted regarding this Survey, played no part in its development, and in fact had no knowledge of it.
Consequently the Union’s recommendation to members is not to complete the Survey.
As well, more than a few of the questions can only be seen as a crude attempt to try to get members to incriminate themselves.

As members will be aware, several health and safety concerns were raised with Fire and Emergency by the Local with respect to the commissioning exercises undertaken at the City Rail Link.
Following the close of nominations for the election of the Central Branch positions of Branch Secretary, Branch President and Branch Vice President, I received one nomination for Branch Vice President and nominations for Branch President and Branch Secretary .
