Members are advised that Mike Powell has only just written to the National Returning Officer that he wishes to withdraw from the election.
Mike was asked at the same time as the other two candidates to reconfirm his nomination before the ballots were printed and sent yet failed to do so till today.

Members are advised that the nomination period for the following two positions is now open and will close at 5pm, Friday 11 September 2026.
An election for the Auckland Local President position shall be conducted by electronic voting commencing at 0900 (9am) Monday 17 August 2026 and closes 1700 (5pm) Friday 4 September 2026.
Members are advised that pursuant to Union Rule B.15.11, notice is given for the Auckland Local Annual General Meeting to be held on Monday 31 August 2026.
