The Union is advised that the last date for payment of the increase in wages and the back pay is planned for 21 November 2018.

There is a need to test the various aspects of the changes – it may be necessary to delay the payment date – we will advise members ASAP if there is to be a delay on the 21 November date.

In order to assist with meeting this target, there will be a freeze on all rank, grade and rate changes from 23 October through to 4 November.

Any delayed changes will be actioned ASAP after 4 November.Back pay will be paid on delayed changes.

The increase in wages and conditions will only apply to persons covered by the Collective Agreement - That is Union Members.

Pursuant to the linkage established by Conference of Union fees to pay increases, the fees will be increased from 21 November 2018 to $22.02 (including GST) a fortnight – that is increased by 2.5%
