Notice from the NZPFU Uniform and PPE Group

The NZPFU Uniform and PPE group have been continuing their work to update the structural firefighting boots and helmets that are available for ordering by Career Firefighters.

Attached is a joint communication between the NZPFU and FENZ, based on the outcomes achieved by the Equipment Working Group.

Yesterday’s notice (below) from District Commander Mackereth once again highlights the dire state of the Fire and Emergency fleet.

There are currently NO relief aerials available in the country to replace the Parnell aerial that has suffered a steering malfunction.
