The Auckland Local has had a number of complaints and questions from members regarding Assistant Area Manager Woon’s email regarding District Relievers for ACFA.

The Local wishes to advise members that AAM Woon has not engaged the Local in any formal consultation on this matter. As such, the Local is in the dark as to what AAM Woon wants to achieve from this instruction.

Given that nobody but AAM Woon knows of the intent of the said instruction, the Local recommends the following:

  • Members do not apply for these positions.
  • If you have applied, retract your application.

The Union intends to pursue this matter.

If you have any further enquiries or concerns, please contact the Union Office.
