After putting out Auckland Local Notice ALC-05-12 dated 24 January, the Auckland Local has received correspondence from Regional Manager McGill.
A number of issues were raised and the Local is seeking National Union’s advice and legal advice. We are also in the process of seeking an urgent meeting with Regional Manager McGill to discuss these issues.
Accordingly, all Roster Departments are advised to recommence their functions as Roster Departments until further notice.
Members are advised that the nomination period for the following two positions is now open and will close at 5pm, Friday 11 September 2026.
An election for the Auckland Local President position shall be conducted by electronic voting commencing at 0900 (9am) Monday 17 August 2026 and closes 1700 (5pm) Friday 4 September 2026.
Members are advised that pursuant to Union Rule B.15.11, notice is given for the Auckland Local Annual General Meeting to be held on Monday 31 August 2026.
