Members should be aware that the Auckland Local has lodged notice of a dispute under Part 1 Clause 9 of the Collective Agreement for Uniformed and Communication Centre Employees (expired), with FRM Butt, because of his illegal directing of our members to perform duties outside the terms of the CEA to which they are parties.

Until such time as the dispute is resolved, the “peace obligation” clause of the CEA, Part 1 Clause 9(i), will be in force and members should return to their normal duties, as was the case before the dispute was lodged.
